MTG Oracle — Plain-English Magic: The Gathering Card Search
MTG Oracle is a free AI-powered Magic: The Gathering card search tool. Unlike Scryfall's syntax-based search, MTG Oracle lets you describe cards in plain English — no filters, no query language, no memorizing operators. Just ask for what you need and the Oracle finds it.
Card Prices & Printings
Look up live Magic card prices from TCGPlayer, Cardmarket, and MTGO. Ask by card name or nickname — Ragavan, Goyf, Bob, Snap, The One Ring — and get TCGPlayer market price, foil pricing, condition estimates (NM, LP, MP, HP), and links to buy across multiple stores including Card Kingdom, Star City Games, MTGGoldfish, and eBay.
Find a Card You Can't Name
Describe what a Magic card does and MTG Oracle will identify it. Search by color, ability, mana cost, card type, set, rarity, or flavor. Examples: "red instant that deals 3 damage for one mana", "blue planeswalker that untaps lands from Zendikar", "black creature that lets you look at opponent's hand each turn", "green creatures with trample under 3 mana in Modern Horizons 2".
Card Lists & Set Filters
Search for card lists by color, type, rarity, set, or ability. Find the most expensive cards in a set, all black commons in Bloomburrow, white creatures with flying in Innistrad, cards that create Treasure tokens, or the most expensive Magic card ever printed. Every result includes direct buy links.
Oracle Text & Rules
Ask for official oracle (rules) text for any Magic card. Useful for resolving rules disputes, checking errata, or understanding complex interactions. Works for any card across all sets and editions.
Secret Lair Drops
Ask what cards are included in any Secret Lair drop by name. Great for quickly checking contents before buying or trading.
Voice & Hands-Free Search
MTG Oracle supports voice input and text-to-speech. Use CONVERSE mode for fully hands-free operation — the Oracle listens, responds, and listens again automatically. QUICK mode is optimized for rapid price checks during trading or drafting. Works in Chrome and Edge.
MTG Oracle is free to use. No account required. Works on desktop and mobile.
